Founded in 1992, Beijing Tianhai Industry Co., Ltd. (BTIC) is a leading global provider of gas storage and transportation equipment, affiliated with Jingcheng MAC (A-share: 600860, H-share: 00187). Rooted in cylinder manufacturing since the 1970s, BTIC has built an international footprint with 7 production bases in China, 1 sales company in Houston, USA, and 1 European office in Hamburg, Germany. The company employs over 1,200 people, serves more than 70 countries, holds 41 international certificates, and offers more than 800 product specifications.
BTIC focuses on high-pressure cylinders, hydrogen storage systems, composite cylinders, cryogenic equipment, and special gas containers. It is a pioneer in China’s hydrogen energy sector, being the first manufacturer licensed for Type IV hydrogen cylinders. Its Type III and Type IV hydrogen cylinders and vehicle systems are widely used in fuel cell trucks, buses, and hydrogen stations, and were applied in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
