With many different single and dual colour LED models to choose from, and profiles from as low as 58mm to the high visibility 138mm tall 24LED dual row beacon, there’s a Haztec beacon to suit every application. Many models are certified to United Nations Regulation ECE R65 for light intensity, colour and flash frequency in amber, blue or red, with green or white non R65 LEDs also available. Haztec can also offer a range of beacons with ICAO compliant flash patterns suitable for airside operations.
Haztec beacons are available in a choice of mounting options including permanent or DIN and suction or magnetic mount models with cigar plug lead, ideal solutions for preserving bodywork where vehicles are leased or where the vehicle does not require a permanent warning light, such as for example an officer’s car. A special extendable mast is also an option for motorcycles. All magnetic mount beacons have been certified to wind speeds of up to 250 km/h (depending on model).
A special stainless steel protective cage can be added to any beacon to protect it from damage from tree branches for example.
The ever popular 3-3751 extra low profile 8LED beacon is also available as a rechargeable magnetic mount beacon which delivers up to 12 hours’ battery life from a single charge.
