The FIRE EVO I is a pre-engineered, automatic vehicle fire suppression system. We have opted for a simple, robust design with as few components as possible to simplify installation and ensure long-term reliability.
At the heart of our system are our extinguishing agent container, which is filled with the extinguishing medium (foam or powder) and nitrogen (18 bar), and our patented valve head. Our detection line is connected to this valve head, it runs through the engine compartment and detects the fire. As the container and the detection line are under the same pressure, a counter-pressure builds up in the valve head, which balances the piston inside. In the event of a fire, the detection line bursts, the pressure drops suddenly and the valve opens. The extinguishing agent flows out of the extinguishing line through the nozzles. Our pressure switch is also located in the same pressure circuit and triggers an alarm as soon as the pressure drops.
The FIRE EVO I is therefore active 24/7 and monitors itself.
Our new, specially developed and patented valve head makes it possible to immediately refill and reactivate the system whilst it is still installed in the event of a trigger. This means minimal machine downtime, low maintenance and repair costs, and a system that not only impresses with its performance but is also sustainable.
