The UniKey-Navigator Connect is an innovative communication and navigation solution designed for use in emergency vehicles, enabling various functions, such as radio control, status checks, and navigation, to be easily displayed and operated on the infotainment system’s screen. The compact unit integrates seamlessly into the vehicle’s existing equipment. The UniKey-Navigator Connect connects to the existing infotainment system in the emergency vehicle via a standard USB interface. Additionally, the radio already installed in the vehicle can be easily connected to the box. The installation of additional equipment or extensive vehicle modifications is not necessary. This is because, thanks to the connection to the infotainment system, all relevant functions of the connected devices are displayed directly on the vehicle’s screen. Using the included UniKey-app, the radio, status, and navigation can be operated quickly and intuitively on the screen. This facilitates mobile and safe work within the vehicle: even in chaotic situations, emergency responders always have all important information at a glance on a single screen.
