The Palm Rescue Universal is a one size fits all design that solves any multi-user needs a service has. Perfect for water rescue training or for non-allocated PPE groups it is quick to set up and get a secure safe fit for in-water stability.
The Rescue Universal design was the first PFD to feature a unique chest harness system, following findings from Palm sponsored research to improve PFD safety. Adjustable in length for different user sizes, the patented UCLan harness system is designed so the harness always releases.
The Rescue Universal PFD uses the best single-sheet foam flotation, heavy-duty abrasion-resistant nylon Cordura® shell fabric, and high-quality nylon webbing. All Palm PFDs go beyond the standards of ISO 12402-5 and 6 (equipment for special purpose). Our shoulder straps are tested to 3.2KN; achieved by sewing the webbing in a continuous failsafe loop into the Palm 3D waist belt.
Our resources for users include straightforward maintenance guides, certificates of conformity, material composition and location of manufacture. Built to last, Palm Rescue PFDs carry a maximum 10-year lifespan.
