Fires and incidents in rail tunnels are among the most demanding operational situations for fire brigades: long intervention routes, restricted accessibility, large numbers of affected persons, and complex technical systems place the highest demands on emergency personnel. Comprehensive specialist training is essential in order to act safely and effectively in such situations.
The intensive courses offered by the International Fire Academy provide exactly this preparation: realistic training in unique training facilities combined with practice-oriented methodology tailored to the operational concepts of the respective fire brigade. In this way, emergency personnel can specifically strengthen their competencies – for maximum safety and efficiency in real emergencies.
Since 2009, the International Fire Academy has trained firefighters from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Training languages are German, English, French, and Italian.
The focus of all training programs is on practical work. The sequence of numerous exercise modules ensures an intensive learning experience.
