e-LAN from the metropoly NEO portfolio provides efficient communication and operational situation management.
A complete overview of the situation is a key element in incident response. Connected to the customer’s Computer-Aided Dispatch system, e-LAN delivers a comprehensive, filterable view of the current situation. Geodata from public and official sources forms the basis of visualization and is stored offline to reduce dependency on network bandwidth and ensure high availability.
The organization chart is a tactical command tool combining graphical command structures, communication diagrams, and general assignments for incident sectors. It supports the structured allocation of personnel and resources.
The e-LAN situation map allows users to select their desired “flight level.” At the micro level, all resources are automatically geo-referenced via TETRA. At the macro level, only tactical deployment formations are displayed. Much of the situation display is automated, while additional information from third-party systems, such as the German Weather Service, can be integrated at any time. Manual adjustments and annotations remain possible.
The force overview is particularly valuable during large-scale operations. It provides command staff and leadership groups with rapid insight into activities and the status of deployed units.
For police use, e-LAN supports the visualization and linking of relationship networks. Displaying connections between individuals involved in an incident enhances situational understanding, particularly in investigative contexts.
The time machine in e-LAN allows reconstruction of the situation at any chosen point in time. All developments and changes are logged in a legally admissible manner.
Additional services can be connected to e-LAN, including interfaces to dispatch and geoinformation systems. A routing service supports the calculation of travel routes and reachability.
e-LAN ensures clear situational awareness.
