DRILL-X is an innovative, water-driven extinguishing device that combines the steps of drilling, penetration and extinguishing in one application. Thanks to its effectiveness, safety and flexibility, DRILL-X revolutionizes firefighting. The DRILL-X drill-extinguisher was specially developed for fires that are difficult to access and enables firefighting from the outside, eliminating the need for emergency services to enter the fire room in the acute phase.
The extinguishing water already cools the surface during drilling. After drilling, the extinguishing nozzles penetrate into the fire room, whereby the extinguishing water is atomized and fed directly into the fire room. The flow rate, jet angle and extinguishing medium are variable and can be effectively adapted to the respective fire. DRILL-X is powered solely by the extinguishing water. The device is operated in the normal pressure range, which means it can be connected to all standard fire pumps and operated on any fire engine. No conversion or retrofitting work is necessary.
Depending on the fire situation, three different drilling systems can be quickly attached to the DRILL-X. The respective materials can be penetrated in the shortest possible time – precisely, efficiently and tailored to the requirements on site.
