The AIS3020 system platform – the latest generation alarm and information system from STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions – enables scalable network architectures ranging from single stations to nationwide networks.
A dedicated system-internal organizational channel allows autonomous operation while ensuring high alert transmission speed. Additional transmission media and data networks – such as BOS TETRA infrastructures, existing microwave links, or public networks – can be flexibly integrated into the system to achieve higher network redundancy and failure resistance. Alerts are transmitted according to the requirements of public safety organizations and the respective end devices via POCSAG, TETRA SDS, and other technologies.
The platform supports siren terminals, pager devices, and status messaging systems and enables the step-by-step migration of existing networks to new systems.
Particularly in large-scale grid deployments, SISS’ alerting technology excels due to its extremely fast, highly reliable, and intelligently organized decentralized alarm feed ensuring that emergency forces can be alerted and the population warned at any time.
