The flood disasters in Rhineland‑Palatinate, North Rhine‑Westphalia, Bavaria, and Baden‑Württemberg, the forest fire in the Harz region, or cyberattacks on municipal administrations: disaster protection in Germany has been put to the test in recent years. The hybrid threat environment is placing growing demands on civil defence and, in particular, on civil protection. As a result, the question of whether the overall system of population protection is adequately structured is increasingly moving into focus.
Our disaster protection requirements plans assess existing capabilities in all known essential response functions and work with you to further develop and strengthen these capabilities. We also examine whether additional, locally specific capabilities are required.
For us, the targeted further development of your disaster response capabilities is paramount. We cannot prevent the next disaster, but together with you, we can significantly improve preparedness for it!
