The BOS Cam enables faster reconnaissance and situational assessment by incident command. Thanks to high-quality visual information, effective measures can be initiated in the shortest possible time.
The BOS Cam camera family forms a complete camera ecosystem and will launch its third generation at Interschutz 2026. In addition to various Ex-rated and ruggedized variants, particularly compact cameras are also available to provide emergency personnel (especially firefighter) with the right hardware for every purpose.
Different cameras are available for various operational applications, for example: Ex-cams for explosive environments, body cams for operational teams, ladder truck cams for quick mounting, and cameras for command units, staff operations, and training purposes. Naturally, all cameras can transmit their data via Wi-Fi, making the information immediately available for a wide range of analyses.
The backend software, which stores, manages, and analyzes the image data, runs locally on the BOS Basisstation (base station), which can be operated in different ways. One option is the permanent installation of the base station in a vehicle equipped with appropriate antennas, turning the entire vehicle into the center of this network. The router hardware also includes LTE and GPS modules. Another highly flexible option is operating the base station in a mobile outdoor case with a tablet integrated into the lid. This version can be positioned and repositioned as needed.
As a customization option, data from the base station and/or a camera can also be transmitted to a dedicated cloud.
