The rapid development in Schaumburg has always taken place in close cooperation with the administration and politics of the district. This also results from the fact that the district is the legal provider of the rescue service and the DRK, as the executive body, is the so-called commissioner. Over the decades, the open and productive cooperation has led to a mutual appreciation, so that the DRK completely ensures the rescue service in Schaumburg.
In figures, this means more than 100 full-time employees, including 18 trainees, 6 rescue stations and modern emergency vehicles.
In addition, the DRK rescue service provides emergency medical services at the locations of the emergency medical vehicles in Stadthagen and Rinteln with specially trained doctors.
