The AFAC22 Conference and Exhibition powered by INTERSCHULTZ is run by joint partners Hannover Fairs Australia and AFAC The National Council for Fire and Emergency Services.
This award comes after an incredibly successful AFAC22 event in Adelaide, with over 3,200 attendees from across the Australasian emergency management sector attending. This is the second time this event has won the award, being the Best Association Event winner at the 2019 EEAA Awards which is the last time the event was held in person.
The attendees of The AFAC22 Conference and Exhibition powered by INTERSCHULTZ enjoyed conversations, presentations and exhibitions surrounding many emergency management topics, such as the Indo-Pacific’s emerging climate and security risks, lithium-ion battery fires and spatial technologies and the importance of mainstreaming disaster risk reduction.
The AFAC Conference and Exhibition powered by INTERSCHULTZ will return in 2023 with AFAC23 to be held on 22-25 August at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, where these and many other relevant topics will be discussed at Australasia’s largest emergency management conference and exhibition.
