Civil protection is playing an increasing overall role at INTERSCHUTZ. From 15 to 20 June 2020, there will be a new focus area for civil protection in Hall 16/17, where doctors, rescue service personnel, fire brigades, technical helpers and other crisis intervention staff as well as volunteers from civil protection aid organizations will find the entire spectrum of civil protection services, including equipment and technical aids such as emergency shelters and tents, electricity, hygiene and sanitation, mobile hospitals and equipment for flood and water protection.
The "Transcending Borders" civil protection symposium is organized by Bonn-based Beta Verlag publishers, in cooperation with INTERSCHUTZ.

INTERSCHUTZ – the world's leading trade fair for fire brigades, rescue services, civil protection and safety/security – next takes place from 15 to 20 June 2020 in Hannover, Germany. The next AFAC takes place from 27 to 30 August 2019 in Melbourne, Australia, offering a networking hub for fire brigades and rescue services. From 4 to 6 October 2019, REAS in Montichiari, Italy, will once again serve as the hub for the Italian rescue services.
