Scania to launch brand-new, battery-electric CrewCab at Interschutz, as part of an impressive line-up of electric and combustion vehicles that bring safety, reliability and greater sustainability to fire and rescue operators.

A world-exclusive launch at Interschutz.
The main headline of Scania’s presence at stand FG R51 in Hannover between 1 and 6 June is the launch of the new Scania CrewCab, with battery-electric power.
It is the first time that Scania has put electric batteries in a CrewCab. This CP31L 4x2 BEV (battery-electric vehicle) has electric batteries with 356 kWh of installed power and a 90 percent state-of-charge window. It has free frame sides, allowing for unique bodybuild to suit customer demand.
“We are delighted to be launching our new Scania BEV CrewCab at Interschutz,” says Louise Johansson, Solutions Manager at Scania Commercial with responsibility for the Fire & Rescue, Airport and Recovery segment.
“The addition of this new cab for battery-electric power underlines our commitment to electrification of our customers’ fleets, which we see as the key to both sustainability and profitability for the long term.”
