Secure and always up to date

The respective ID card is displayed via the user's own BOS-ID app on their smartphone. To do this, the content is transmitted in real time in encrypted form from the BOS-ID server and merged with the customer-specific ID card layout. Various security features prevent the ID card from being copied or manipulated.

Changes made easy

Need to change your ID details or passport photo? No problem, because with the BOS-ID app, users can easily submit a digital change request themselves at any time, which then only needs to be accepted and approved by the relevant authority in the portal at the touch of a button.

No more cumbersome forms, no more waiting times, and no more printing new ID cards. The digital service ID card also compares favorably in terms of price to the previous paper ID cards or plastic cards, as the complete BOS-ID system is expected to cost customers only €1.50 per ID card per year.

Remote pilot license and bonus programs

Since mid-2025, BOS-ID can also be used for the remote pilot license (“drone license”). All essential information is stored on a certified German server in compliance with the GDPR and can be accessed at any time via smartphone and updated thanks to a professional web portal. The latest innovation was the introduction of the “Bonus Programs” section in BOS-ID in November 2025. This section now features regional offers, interesting

discounts, and exclusive promotions. This means that BOS-ID holders not only benefit from the advantages of a secure digital ID, but also from attractive regional offers.
