In operational situations where precision determines success, the light provides glare-free visibility with daylight-quality illumination. With an efficiency of 160 lumens per watt, it is set to set new standards in light output, which is particularly advantageous when operating on battery systems or mobile power generators.

The innovative case design allows for quick removal directly from the vehicle and easy loading even into the confined equipment compartments of firefighting vehicles (LF) or equipment trucks (GW-L). Tactical flexibility is enhanced by the tool-free assembly: The foldable version can be used directly on the ground, suspended, or mounted on standard DIN tripod pins. Thanks to passive cooling, the system is maintenance-free and is designed to withstand even extreme weather conditions with wind speeds of up to 150 kilometers per hour. For special situations, such as in medical tents, the light can be individually adjusted via Casambi control or a dimming function. Additionally, the system stands out for its sustainability, as all components are designed to be replaceable, which saves municipal budgets in the long term.

Optimal Lighting for Disaster Response

In addition, SONLUX is introducing the new WISTARA tent light, which was developed specifically for mobile treatment stations. Its dimensions are precisely tailored to standard transport boxes, making it the ideal addition to roll containers used in disaster response. The WISTARA offers the necessary flexibility for the entire infrastructure—from simple shelter tents to sterile medical areas.

Thanks to built-in IP68 sockets and continuous wiring, multiple lights can be connected to form a seamless chain without additional cable reels creating a tripping hazard. The lights can be attached to tent poles without tools using an optional webbing strap. A critical factor for patient safety is the optional emergency lighting version, which ensures orientation in the event of an external power outage. The built-in multicolor and multilumen technology also allows the light intensity and color to be precisely tailored to the specific procedure—up to a shadow-free illumination of 18,000 lumens. Thanks to their robust IP65 construction, the devices are dust-protected and can easily withstand thorough disinfection after use.
