Protecting soil and water from hazardous substances is one of the central tasks in technical rescue operations. At INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hanover, the Czech company Metal Arsenal s.r.o. will present forward-looking solutions for precisely these challenges under its renowned ECCOTARP brand. Since its founding in 2005, ECCOTARP has established itself as a specialized developer and manufacturer of equipment for fire departments and industry. The brand is now represented in more than 20 countries and stands for high-quality, mobile containment systems that are precisely tailored to the requirements of the hazardous materials sector.

The focus of the trade show presentation is on the continuous development of classic products as well as the introduction of genuine material innovations. The brand’s best-known flagship product is the foldable containment tray, which was originally developed for fire departments. Thanks to its flexible design and the use of highly chemical-resistant PVC, it enables the rapid containment of leaking liquids even under difficult on-site conditions. Metal Arsenal emphasizes the combination of precise craftsmanship and the option for custom-made solutions.

The ReccoPro spill containment pan series represents a significant innovation. These are made from the durable material “ReccoPro HardGuard,” which withstands both mechanical and chemical stresses. A special technical highlight is the “Smart-Up Lock” system: this design of the side supports allows any wall of the pan to be lowered immediately as needed. This significantly facilitates the movement of vehicles for decontamination or the placement of heavy IBC containers and increases operational efficiency during emergency response.

Beyond traditional spill containment, ECCOTARP showcases innovative solutions for leak sealing. The magnetic sealing patches enable immediate repair of leaks in drums or tanks. While the polyurethane version is primarily designed for the petrochemical industry, the magnetic silicone patch is set to set new standards: With a temperature resistance ranging from minus 80 degrees Celsius to plus 280 degrees Celsius and food-safe properties, it is ideally suited for highly sensitive sectors such as the pharmaceutical or paint industries.

In addition to hazardous materials response, the company is dedicated to reducing the physical strain on emergency personnel. With the ET-Roller 7 electric hose reel, the company is introducing a system that effortlessly handles hoses up to 6 inches in diameter. Powered by modern battery technology, the device takes the entire weight of the hose off the user’s shoulders, which significantly improves ergonomics during cleanup operations following major disasters. Trade visitors at INTERSCHUTZ will have the opportunity to examine these systems in person and experience them in practical tests at Hall 17, Booth E13.
