Developed and manufactured entirely in Germany, the Clunid FMZ6000 fire detection and extinguishing control panel boasts outstanding technological flexibility that puts it ahead of its time. "Extensive experience gained from being the second largest fire safety company in the world went into its development," explains André Lickefett, Managing Director for R&D at Minimax Viking. "At the forefront of this new technology is the fact that we, at Minimax, guarantee maximum security and user convenience for the entire scope of the applications - despite the complexity of the underlying technology."

The Clunid FMZ6000 features a user-friendly touchscreen interface designed to further boost its operating safety. Thanks to high-performance network technology, it can also be used to control other aspects of fire safety operating technology and is setting new standards in fire detection and extinguishing technology by simplifying an active principle test. Each Clunid FMZ6000 has a modular build and is fitted out with precisely the technology required for the respective application. High computing performance and a generously sized event and history memory mean the system can be scaled as required. What's more, both the central signal processing unit and the processors on all modules and area control panels feature a redundant design, which - when combined with hot plug integration - means individual operating modules can be replaced during live operation without causing any interruptions. Downtime and outages are thus a thing of the past, while automatic feasibility tests ultimately prevent errors right from the configuration stage. Diagnosis functions including suggestions for remedial action have also been incorporated to enhance the reliability of the entire system in all operating modes.
