Deutsche Messe provides halls for Ukraine refugees
By making three exhibition halls available, Deutsche Messe wants to help quickly and pragmatically. However, the occupancy will not affect INTERSCHUTZ in any way: All the halls occupied will be available again for INTERSCHUTZ in June 2022.

In view of the continuing threatening developments in Ukraine, thousands of people are leaving their homes every day and fleeing to neighboring EU countries. The first Ukrainians seeking protection already arrived in Hannover a few days ago.
For Deutsche Messe, it is a matter of course to help the people in this emergency situation immediately and unbureaucratically: The two exhibition halls 26 and 27 are being prepared as temporary accommodation, and Hall 13 will become the assembly point for the initial registration and further accommodation of the refugees.
There is no reason to worry that this will have an impact on INTERSCHUTZ, which will occupy the halls. The halls will be available on time for the preparations and the staging of INTERSCHUTZ.
