In the event of a fire, electrical cables require special protection in order to be able to maintain their function over a certain period of time. This is precisely where the PYROMENT®-EK fire protection duct comes in: With a functional integrity of E30 to E90, the innovative solution reliably protects electrical cable lines for up to 90 minutes.
PYROMENT®-EK is much easier to handle than conventional systems: The individual panels are not glued, clamped or screwed, but inserted or placed in the sheet metal channel. In addition, the components are supplied prefabricated as a dimensionally accurate kit for the project in question, which makes installation quick and easy.
The new fire protection duct has been tested in accordance with DIN 4102-12 as well as approved by the building authorities and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to its permanent protection against rain, frost, UV radiation as well as mechanical damage, PYROMENT®-EK offers unlimited application possibilities - even in critical areas such as tunnels, production or chemical plants, power stations, data centers, clinics, underground garages or high-rise buildings.
