The G2000N Gas Detection System combines the Model GM600 universal display unit with the Ultra TGX transmitter series to continuously monitor toxic gases, flammable gases, infrared hydrocarbons, and organic compounds in industrial environments.
Designed to meet strict international safety standards, the system complies with key IECEx and EN standards for explosive atmospheres, including IEC/EN 60079-0, IEC/EN 60079-1 (flameproof enclosure "d"), and IEC/EN 60079-31 (dust ignition protection "t"), as well as EN IEC 61326-1 for EMC performance.
Gas concentrations are displayed on the GM600’s LCD in multiple units (%vol, %LEL, ppm, ppb, mg/m³) using real-time signals from the TGX transmitters. All electronics are housed in an explosion-proof 316 stainless steel or aluminum enclosure (250 × 130 × 140 mm), rated IP66, ensuring reliable performance in hazardous areas.
Key features include dual redundant MODBUS communication, optional 4–20 mA with HART, and high/low/auxiliary alarms with fault relays. Bluetooth/wireless connectivity allows fast setup, calibration, and diagnostics via a dedicated mobile app, with event log download capability. Proprietary UltraSen® technology automatically compensates sensors for environmental drift, extending their service life, while integrated sensor ID chips guarantee consistent performance across units. An optional wireless module enables networked detectors for precise leak localization.
