Hydraulic equipment and systems from Holmatro are used worldwide by rescue and special response teams, and in industry. To demonstrate that they operate reliably under all circumstances, Holmatro is including a very special feature in the Holmatro Rescue Experience at this year's INTERSCHUTZ in Hannover, Germany – The 35,000 Euro Extrication Challenge! Supported by Deutsche Messe, the international event will take place on each day of the fair, located on a 1,500 square meter area in the open-air site.

A total of 29 teams from 16 countries have registered for this challenge to demonstrate their skills in realistic extrication scenarios using modern vehicles. The three winning teams will receive fabulous prizes worth a total of EUR 35,000! As well as the competition, the Rescue Experience offers many additional activities for visitors. During the intervals in the Extrication Challenge, for example, visitors will be invited to take to the stage to test themselves in a game of skill. Anyone who can complete the game without making a mistake will receive a Holmatro SafetyPen (window punch and seatbelt cutter in one) and the person who finishes the fastest each day will win an Apple iPad mini 3.
