Innovation is the name of the game for MINIMAX at INTERSCHUTZ in Hannover – from solutions for the wood processing industry and fire protection in complex server rooms right through to situational fire suppression systems, the Bad Oldesloe-based company is truly in its element at the world’s leading trade fair for rescue services, fire prevention, disaster relief, safety and security. Particularly noteworthy are the end-to-end solutions using innovative components straight from the company’s own research and development labs. The new MINIMAX SOLID SDE fire detection and extinguishing control panel serves as a prime example.

SOLID systems are known for delivering a specific range of functions for precisely defined applications and are thus ideal for use in contained, independent areas. For instance, the new SOLID SDE (Spark Detection and Extinguishing) system is preconfigured ex works for the control and functional monitoring of spark extinguishing systems in pneumatic suction and conveyor facilities and in drop chutes. This design concept makes it particularly easy to set up and extremely user-friendly to operate. SOLID SDE analyzes signals from spark detectors and rapid flame detectors in a matter of milliseconds and activates the extinguishing unit of the spark extinguishing system immediately. What’s more, thanks to the integrated and adjustable spark counter, it is also able to send out automatic shutdown signals to machinery.
