As of 4 March, trade fairs can again take place without being subject to any major restrictions. A new coronavirus ordinance clears the way for trade fairs in the German state of Lower Saxony.

Trade fairs can again take place
Participants who are vaccinated, recovered or tested have access to exhibition grounds and the exhibition halls. In addition, FFP2 masks are mandatory in indoor areas. Standard hygiene concepts, which ensure, for example, the regular cleaning of surfaces, distance requirements and the supply of fresh air, will remain in force.
Further restrictions as of March 20, 2022
The new coronavirus ordinance is in effect until March 19, 2022, from then on Corona-related restrictions are expected to be eased almost entirely if there is no resurgence in infection and hospitalization rates.
Deutsche Messe’s trade fair year in Hannover kicks off in May with the Real Estate Arena and the micromobility expo. This will be followed in June by HANNOVER MESSE and the INTERSCHUTZ trade fair for firefighters and fire protection.
