Brandschutztechnik Müller GmbH really did start off in a garage – that was where, in 1980, Herbert Müller built his first powder suction machine for servicing fire extinguishers. Over the years since this first successful development, the company has gone from strength to strength and is now established as a highly competent full-service fire department supplier. The Hesse-based company is now exhibiting at INTERSCHUTZ 2015 in Hannover with an innovative, mobile high-pressure pump unit.

The HLG POWERJET is an independent and portable high-pressure pump unit with a petrol engine and water tank. It is also equipped with an integrated foam tank to ensure extinguishing agents can be mixed in directly during a deployment. Thanks to the device’s very low consumption, its integrated extinguishing capacities can sustain up to 5 minutes of independent operation. This low consumption is achieved by finely atomizing the water/foaming agent mixture under high pressure in the rotary nozzle. Thanks to the HLG POWERJET's compact design, it can also be installed on SAMfire II, one of the smallest firefighting vehicles around, which opens the door to additional synergy effects.
