Powerful and watertight, that' s how the eDraulic rescue tools from Lukas perform. Technological advancements of an axial piston pump are combined with an electromagnetic service valve and a brushless electric motor. In addition, there is the latest innovation: All eWXTs can now be used in case of heavy rain, flooding, and even underwater.

All technical component are watertight on its own. All eWXTs thus fulfill the requirements of protection category IP 58 and can be operated underwater at a depth of 3m for up to one hour.

The series includes the watertight 5 Ah or 9 Ah rescue battery, both offer the longest operating time available in the industry. These batteries can even be changed underwater if necessary.

The name Lukas stands for hydraulics since the end of the 1940s. That is how long pioneering hydraulic products have been manufactured in Erlangen. Initially only for industrial applications, in 1955 the re-railing equipment area was added and in 1972 LUKAS developed the first hydraulic cutting device to be offered for rescue use. And with that, a foundation stone was laid for the whole sector.

Today the company is represented globally by an extensive dealer network with its hydraulic products in three different product sectors: High-pressure hydraulics for industrial applications, re-railing technology and hydraulic rescue equipment. With the latter company sector, Lukas supports emergency services to save people's lives around the world.

Lukas products are still manufactured by the in-house production department with quality that is "Made in Germany”, and shipped around the world.
