BINZ Ambulance- und Umwelttechnik GmbH is a trailblazing manufacturer of special-purpose vehicles. Whether ambulance, fire service, police or mobile medical technology - the innovative vehicles purpose-built by BINZ are renowned for their impeccable quality and end-to-end ingenuity. The world-first the company teamed up with Otto-Id Solutions and witcotech to create is no exception! RFID technology is behind this idea to make checking the entire inventory of an emergency services vehicle possible in just a 45-second scan - by attaching a special transponder to each consumable and piece of equipment on board.
Once the scan has been completed, all it takes is the press of a button to record the entire inventory. A special combination of antennas, readers and innovative software makes the process so quick. This smart solution also significantly speeds up the turnaround between operations. As soon as the team departs from a completed mission, an immediate overview of the vehicle's entire contents is to hand. Upon returning to base, the results can be compared against the master inventory software. Of course, this new system also makes it very quick and easy to spot if a piece of equipment has been left behind by mistake.
