In worst-case scenarios, fires in large buildings can rapidly develop into tragic disasters. When dealing with underground parking garages, event facilities and tunnels, the fire service often has to find a way to cool or ventilate the structure without using any of its integrated systems, e.g. to reduce any build-up of gases. AT INTERSCHUTZ 2015, B.S. Belüftungs-GmbH is showcasing the BIG MGV L125 II , a new dimension in large mobile ventilators for combating looming disasters more effectively when situations turn critical.

The powerful BIG MGV L125 is extremely versatile. As well as providing ventilation with an air output of up to a million cubic meters per hour, it has an integrated water mist system that optimizes the way water droplets are spread to ensure very effective cooling. What’s more, the non-collapsible duct system provides suction to remove gases and smoke rapidly and can be used to ventilate specific spaces. The ventilator's remote control unit displays all the crucial information, adding to the overall user-friendliness of the systems. The ventilator can be mounted on any chassis, roll-off container or trailer as required by the customer. Thanks to the tried-and-tested engine and reliable drive belt, the machine is very low maintenance and, depending on the size of the tank, can run for up to eight hours.
