Product description

PBI fabrics are internationally renowned for their great flame resistance and thermal protection from radiant heat, built on a 30-year heritage of technical excellence and innovation. They are lightweight, strong and achieve a high standard of flame resistance. They will not become brittle, shrink or break open when exposed to flame and high temperatures.

PBI Gold was the first fabric developed by the company that was specifically designed to protect firefighters and was instantly recognizable due to its distinctive golden color.

The next development was PBI Matrix, which is a patented blend of PBI fibers, reinforced with a durable matrix of high strength aramid filaments designed exclusively for structural firefighting.

PBI Max offers firefighters an excellent combination of thermal protection that will not break open with high levels of comfort, flexibility and durability. The black version of PBI Max uses solution dyed PBI and Para Aramid fibers for a riche color and great colorfastness after laundry, UV and high heat exposures.

Gemini XTL combines very high abrasion resistance and high tear strength with PBI's proven thermal protection from exposure to heat and flame. The fabric incorporates innovative new technology, making it very lightweight, breathable and flexible.

Ibena Neo complements the other PBI outer fabrics with a combination of high mechanical strength and all of the proven benefits of PBI fiber. Ibena Neo has excellent tensile strength and tear resistance. The fabric is long lasting and maintains its good looks after many washes.

The specially selected yarns in TITAN 1260 optimize the wear and strength characteristics; provide good durability of the garment while delivering excellent breathability and comfort, even after repeated washing.
