Vidal, subsidiary of the Sioen Group, does not just develop protection suits. We develop a protection that is tailored to your specific constraints:
How can we best meet the needs of people facing fires, explosions, gas leaks and hostile environments?
We have been working on a red protection suit to improve visibility.
The jacket is short and has two inner side pockets and a napoleon pocket. On the outside you'll find two chest pockets for two digital radios that don't hamper the antenna. Above these pockets there are fixation loops for remote micros and waterproof lamps. In the two pockets with overlap on the sleeves the fireman can put away his lamp. He can attach gloves or a thermographic camera on the two rings on the front of the jacket. The fastening of the jacket is assured by an anti-panic zip system.
The jacket has no membrane, which reduces the weight of the product and improves its breathability. Nevertheless, it still reaches level 2 of protection against heat and flames.
A rescue grip on the back allows to quickly evacuate the fireman in need.
A removable personalized vest, in different colours depending on the position and the mission can be attached to the jacket.
The trousers have also been adapted. They come higher on the thorax to assure a better protection of the vital organs. Thanks to the zippers at the side of the legs, the trousers can be put on quickly without having to struggle to get them over the boots. The knee reinforcements in Kevlar molton coated with a fire resistant polymer offer more protection when the wearer is on his knees.
