The GfS e-Bar® is a push bar for emergency exit doors with integrated alarm. This device assures a fast and trouble-free opening of the emergency exit door as well as an effective control of the emergency exit door. Versions:The GfS e-Bar® with battery or power supply for mechanical panic locks can either be supplied with a 9V battery incl. an integrated power control unit or via an external power supply unit. As soon as an external power supply is connected (10V-30V DC) the intelligent electronics switches off the battery power saving modus. The GfS e-Bar® with integrated emergency switch can be employed in combination with electric locks. Of course, mechanical GfS e-Bars® without floating contacts are available, too.Functions:While slightly pressing the GfS e-Bar® a visual (red LED light) and acoustic (95dBA/1m) pre-alarm is activated, which expires, as soon as the GfS e-Bar® is released. The emergency exit door remains closed. When pushing the GfS e-Bar® completely the emergency exit door opens and people can leave the building. Doing this a visual (green LED light) and a permanent acoustic alarm is activated, which only can be switched off by an authorized person with a key. The innovative GfS e-Bar® is the solution of choice where design requirements play a major role. The core benefits of the GfS e-Bar® are its complete functionality set, the possibility to integrate the GfS e-Bar® into the central building control system and to adopt the software to the individual need of the customer. Thanks to its rock solid Swiss made design, its high quality INOX, the GfS e-Bar® is suitable for public buildings where robust construction is mandatory. Expenses for annual, external functionality tests do not incur. Due to its robust and elegant design, its versatility and cost effectiveness the GfS e-Bar® is well accepted in schools, theatres, airports, stadiums, shopping centers etc.
