Portable fire pumps, high pressure fogging units, powerful generators, foam producing units etc. have a weight clearly in excess of 100 kg, so when carried by 4 male persons the admissible weight of 25 kg per male person limited by labor protection rules is clearly exceeded. This leads to sanitary, insurance and punitive risks of persons ordering such material or ordering to handle it, notwithstanding the fact that handling it anyway should better be organized differently.AQUADRAULIC, D-39175 Biederitz is offering a way out of these risks by installing a hydraulic drive in small vehicles like mini cars, UTVs/Quads and the like, which in turn are powering said equipment of fire fighters. In the end it means to have «cruising fire pumps» instead of «portable» ones (which in reality are rather unportable), cruising high pressure fogging units and cruising generators or compressors. The hydraulic drive, too, allows to power very different applications, so the vehicle indeed becomes a fully usable, multiple-use utility vehicle. The picture is showing the rear of such a vehicle with equipment arranged therein. A modular system allows exchanging specialized modules against other ones just by slipping different sledges in or out.
