Product description

The ALP 444E is a special product for the fire brigades. The unit can be used as rescue equipment, for technical assistance, as a water tower for fire fighting. It has a special water line from the bottom to the top of the boom 100 mm. diameter that allow a water flow of 3.600 lpm.
It has a stable telescopic ladder from the turntable to the cage attached onto the right hand side of the boom at several points throughout its
length resulting in extreme stability even when operated in windy conditions. Extension movement of the ladder shall be automatically synchronized with the telescopic movement of the first boom requiring no separate control device.
The design of operational stability and structural strength are
based on criteria laid out in prEN1777.
Hydraulic power has provided by a double axial piston pump, which has driven by the vehicle power take-off. The power requirement for the system has met by the hydraulic pump. All the control valve are proportional.
Due to the proportional principle the control function is not sensitive
to changes of ambient or oil temperature, thus providing smooth, safe and very accurate movements even in most severe operating conditions. All control movements are performed by the remote control system from both control panels. The side outreach is performed by the position of the outriggers.
The machine is controlled by a sofisticated electronic system that allow to have a complete control of the position of all the booms and cage and have some automatic features as follow:
- Automatic jacking levelling
- Variable Jacking system
- Cab protection
- Automatic drive of boom to transport position
- Working cage automatically to middle position
- Automatic ladder rung alignment
- Cage anticollision system
- Memory function system
Many other special features and options are available on the unit on demand.
