German Fire Service Day
An international conference highlighting the future, attended by Germany’s federal president and featuring expert presentations and networking opportunities – this is what the 29th German Fire Service Day has to offer.
The German Fire Service Day connects people and moments, spawning new political ideas and industry developments. This major event staged by the German Fire Service Association (DFV) takes place parallel to INTERSCHUTZ, running from 15 to 20 June 2020 in Hannover, Germany.
The German Fire Service Day will kick off with a reception featuring German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
International fire brigade congress
The agenda includes an international fire brigade congress dealing with the challenges posed by climate change and other factors. Fire brigade leaders from all over the world will meet at the delegates’ convention of the world firefighting association, CTIF, which will be held as part of the 29th German Fire Service Day. The motto of the 29th German Fire Service Day is “Safety.Security.Life”.
Just how diverse and colorful the world of firefighting can be will be made tangible for young and old fans during the multiple-day Fire Brigade Mile in downtown Hannover. The event will be capped off by a concert on the exhibition grounds.
The 29th German Fire Service Day is being staged in collaboration with the German state of Lower Saxony, the Lower Saxony Fire Service Association, the City of Hannover and the Hannover Fire Brigade.
