High Angle Rescue Championships
A few decades ago, emergencies on skyscraper construction sites, high-voltage electrical towers or cranes pushed fire departments to the very limits of their capabilities. Since then the problem has been resolved: Rope rescuers are at work throughout Germany, in fire departments as well as many emergency rescue organizations.
This is where the best compete!
In 2020, the Hannover Fire Department will be staging Germany’s 17th national high angle rescue championships for professional fire brigades.
The championships will be held at the Hannover Exhibition Center on Saturday, 20 June.
The basic program for the event is as follows:
The competition allows for a total of 16 teams of 5 members each. Each team must complete three stages. The fastest time wins.
The registration has expired. All places for the championships are taken.
