Once upon a time, different organizations in the emergency services and fire departments competed for patients. There were different emergency numbers and a multitude of control centers - a colorful mess, ultimately at the expense of the sick and injured. The state capital of Lower Saxony (Germany), Hannover, was a pioneer at the time.

Registrations growing for REAS 2023

The 2023 edition of REAS scheduled from 6 to 8 October starts again from the record numbers of the previous one: 260 exhibitors and over 24,000 visitors with volunteers and operators from all over Italy and abroad. For 2023, the goal is to enhance the strengths of the event and propose some novelties of great interest.

REAS confirms its Status as a Reference Event

For the seventh time, one exhibitor has set a small, unofficial INTERSCHUTZ record: Pacific Helmets from the small town of Whanganui on the North Island of New Zealand with its 47,000 inhabitants.

In many areas of everyday life, we are currently encountering resource scarcity. Goods and products sometimes have long delivery times or are not available at all. Demand is also increasing due to the growing population and in many areas we have to resort to finite raw materials. The environmental aspect plays another important role. The effects that the exploitation of our earth can have, we feel more and more often through extreme weather situations, global warming and natural disasters.

Forest fire fighting top topic at INTERSCHUTZ

With more than 1,300 exhibitors from 52 countries, the world's leading trade fair for firefighting, rescue, civil protection and safety, INTERSCHUTZ, started today in Hannover. A central topic is vegetation firefighting - currently highly explosive, especially because of the current disaster situation in Brandenburg and the forest fires in other regions.

INTERSCHUTZ 2022 is open

Even though INTERSCHUTZ already opened for exhibitors and visitors at 09.00 today, the official opening ceremony traditionally takes place in the morning on the first day of the fair.

Blue light mile: Starting signal for INTERSCHUTZ

Today at 11 a.m., Hannover's First City Councilor and Fire Department Head Dr. Axel von der Ohe officially opened the Blue Light Mile together with the Managing Director of the CityGemeinschaft Hannover, Martin Prenzler, the CEO of Deutsche Messe AG, Dr. Jochen Köckler, the President of the Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection (vfdb), Dirk Aschenbrenner, and the President of the German Fire Brigades Association (DFV), Karl-Heinz Banse.
