German-based Kärcher Futuretech GmbH develops, manufactures and markets modular products and system solutions worldwide for rapid, mobile use in disaster and crisis zones. The company’s solutions portfolio mainly includes water supply systems, mobile catering and field camp systems, and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense systems. Consequently, at INTERSCHUTZ 2015, Kärcher Futuretech is exhibiting a selection of modular, variable and highly efficient solutions for various aspects of civil protection, including the compact, robust and mobile KRR 50 E rapid response kitchen.
The electrically operated rapid response kitchen has been designed to run completely independently, without needing any additional infrastructure. Integrated into just three functional units, the compact KRR 50 E can be transported to any location and set up and operated in next to no time in a tent or other building, for example. The kitchen requires minimal manpower and can be used to prepare varied menus for up to 50 people or simple meals for up to 75 people. Thanks to its modular structure, the capacity of the KRR 50 E can be extended by adding more functional units. It can serve as a stand-alone cooking line or as an extension to existing catering systems.
