SALZBURG/HANNOVER. GORE-TEX®, the worldwide specialist for functional textiles, presents GORE® ParallonTM System, a new innovative material composition for protective clothing in the fire fighting field. A long-standing license partner, TEXPORT®, manufacturer for high-quality protective clothing, has added the Parallon System to its “Fire Breaker Action” model at Interschutz 2015 in Hanover.
Material composition with two membranes
The GORE® PARALLON™ System was specially developed to prevent dangers related to moisture and heat stress. The new solution combines an extremely breathable Gore thermal insulation with a GORE-TEX® or CROSSTECH® moisture barrier. This is a unique design in which thermal insulation is embedded between two membranes. This ensures high breathability and quickly conducts the moisture away from the skin. At the same time, it prevents the permeation of moisture from the outside. Sweat effectively escapes through the layers, keeping thermal insulation dry and reducing the risk of scalds and burns. Thanks to the high level of comfort and breathability, the danger of heat stress is reduced and the wearer remains prepared for action.
Fire Breaker Action, the first model with GORE® PARALLON™ System from TEXPORT®
For Interschutz 2015, TEXPORT® has complemented its popular model “Fire Breaker Action” with the Parallon TM system. A viewing window was especially integrated into the suit in order to present the structure at the booth. For all information about the “Fire Breaker Action” model with GORE® PARALLON™ System, please visit us at the TEXPORT® booth in Hall 12, D48.
