In order to comply with the growing requirements during the daily use of gas detectors, GfG has developed the test station TS400 on the basis of the well-proven docking station DS400 for a daily function check of the portable gas detectors of the Microtector II series. The TS400 provides an inexpensive, flexible and mobile solution. The easy and convenient recording of all required data on an SD card complies with the requirements stipulated in the regulations of BG RCI T023/T021.Connected to a test gas cylinder the test station TS400 allows a function check of a gas detector Microtector II G450 or G460 en route and at remote locations due to its high mobility. For use in a car or truck the test station can also be powered by a 12/24VDC adapter. Effort is reduced by about 50% compared to performing a manual function check or using a calibration station. The use of the TS400 leads to a reduction of the cost of ownership - gas consumption, time for documentation. An exemplary calculation of a typical bump test of a multi-gas detector (for 3 gases) showed cost of only 50 cent per detector. The useful and robust transport case allows a smooth and safe transport of all necessary accessories - the gas cylinder, fitting, test station, mains unit and car adapter.
