GfS Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik
Secure emergency exits with GfS Door Terminal The pioneer of escape route technology in Germany, GfS - Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik mbH from Hamburg/ Germany has developed an elegant GfS Door Terminal with a housing made out of stainless steel. All functions, such as control unit, emergency exit button, key switch, siren (100 dB/1m) and a built-in flash-light are integrated in one device. The unique LED flash-light is an effective additional inhibition threshold which helps to significantly reduce the misuse of emergency exits. The GfS Door Terminal is certified together with various electric locking mechanisms. In case of emergency the electric locking mechanism can be released by fire alarm systems or the integrated emergency exit button. Authorized persons might use access control systems to walk through the door. Other possibilities to release the electric locking mechanisms are a timer or a simple switch. The functionalities of the GfS Door Terminal include single and permanent release as well as functions which might be adjusted by the customer himself with a key: time delay, adjustable brightness, automatic alarm switch-of and door-to-long-open-alarm. By changing the profile cylinder the GfS Door Terminal can be integrated into the existing master key concept of the customer. In large locations with many emergency exits up to 32 GfS Door Terminals might be connected to a central display. External alarm devices such as sirens, buzzers, displays can be integrated by remote technology, too.The GfS Door Terminal is mounted on-wall. It is easily to install and fits perfectly to the retrofit market. The well designed and rock solid stainless steel housing is tamper-proof and impresses with its timeless elegance. It is thus perfectly suitable for prestigious locations (large event halls, shoping centers, airports, etc.) in which design and robustness count.
