Seiz presents first functional glove with temperature measurement via infrared sensor
Glove Manufacturer Seiz shows at Interschutz in Hall 12 Booth D80 its latest development. A firefighting glove with highest tear and abrasion resistance, maximum puncture and cut protection and a double-layer heat shield. But there is more than that. Due advanced security functionality, the Fire-Fighter Function can be upgraded to a danger warning system. An electronic unit on the back of the glove indicates the temperature of a surface, which is measured by an infrared sensor.
The heat-resistant function glove makes it possible to detect risk zones for firefighting in buildings early. Moves the deployment troop on to a closed door of a building fallen into fire, it can carry out a temperature measurement before entering the room. A red LED warns if there exists a risk of flashover when opening the door. In addition, an installed laser pointer enables non-verbal communication at the operation site. In addition to the temperature sensor a flash-light is available as accessory. This can also be attached to the back of the glove and has a bright xenon bulb. More security, danger warning and avoidance of burn injuries - the glove is an innovation all along the line and lives up to its name. From 8th to 13th June 2015, visitors of the Interschutz, the international leading exhibition for rescue, fire prevention, disaster relief, safety and security, can convince themselves of the world's innovation.
