Charismatic manager Ewald Haimerl of renowned footwear specialist Haix, based in Mainburg, Bavaria, promised something spectacular for INTERSCHUTZ 2015, saying: "Once again, the HAIX stand will be a showstopper at INTERSCHUTZ." The facts and figures for the HAIX stand confirm the fact. The expansive display area is set on two levels and its TV screen exceeds 60 square meters – probably the biggest trade fair screen ever, the team is giving away 1,000 backpacks a day, plus singer Tracy Williams from HAIX North America is performing two live shows every day. So the Haix team isn’t exactly treading softly-softly, other than maybe the company’s real star of the INTERSCHUTZ performance – the new sleek and sporty FIRE EAGLE.

The brief called for the nigh-on impossible from the Haix design team – the new boot should be a light and flexible "kid brother" for the now quite legendary FIRE HERO, but without compromising on safety features. It’s a combination that all professional boots seek to achieve, but surely none has ever succeeded quite as much as the FIRE EAGLE. Haix itself labels the latest FIRE EAGLE model a sure-footed step into the next generation! Each boot weighs less than 1,000 grams and should feel almost like a running shoe – leaving legs feeling fit, not tired, at the end of even the toughest of shifts. At the same time, the FIRE EAGLE meets not only all the relevant technical standards but also the demands true professionals place on their work boots. What's more, thanks to their two-tone protective toe caps and the signal yellow ridged contours, FIRE EAGLE boots are also something of a trendsetter for the next generation of work boots.
