THW: sure partner in technical emergencies

The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) will be running several displays around the INTERSCHUTZ venue, starting in the main entrance with displays of technical relief responses to water hazards, water damage and shortages of drinking water. The displays are spearheaded by the Sachsen/Thüringen division of the THW.

The Central THW presentation is in Hall 2 (Stand B58) and features a recreation of a collapsed building, where the TWH, together with the Fire Rescue Service (HZS) of the Czech Republic, will stage rescues of trapped victims using a special scaffold system.

The THW will also be running an exhibition on its 60 year history in the Glass Atrium (Glashalle). The expo will include large items of equipment and vehicles. The THW showcase will be complemented by a series of in-depth theme days (Tuesday to Friday).
