Chemical accidents response technology

At the TUIS stand (Hall 5, Stand A20), a number of chemical plant fire services will be showing how they use specialized equipment to safely and quickly manage and remedy the hazardous consequences of transport accidents involving chemicals. TUIS, the chemicals industry's Transport Accident Information and Emergency Response System, has been attending chemicals accidents throughout Germany since 1982. The exhibits at the TUIS stand will include a water canon for use at tank facility fires and a system for salvaging liquid gas from damaged tanks.
