Rescue services - fire, flood and chemical accidents

The non-commercial exhibitors will also be demonstrating their emergency and disaster operations to spectacular effect at the fair, putting a whole array of fire, flood and chemical accident response innovations through their paces.

Maritime Emergencies

The central focus is a recreated 14m ship's hull in a 6m x 9m body of water, where joint rescue crews will be staging demonstration missions and exercises.

Maritime SAR Service

The German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) will be profiling the bravery of it crews.

Lifeguards at INTERSCHUTZ

The exhibits include a newly developed medical equipment truck and new levee stabilization techniques.

Mobile flood barrier research project

The project calls for a solution that is safe and reliable, fast and simple to deploy and dismantle, and conserves resources by using recycled recyclable materials.

Tunnel rescue training

New mobile training facility: consisting of an approximately 12 meter long tunnel, a tunnel portal and a stretch of road, it enables rescue crews to train in a realistic tunnel environment.

Chemical accidents response technology

The exhibits at the TUIS stand will include a water canon for use at tank facility fires and a system for salvaging liquid gas from damaged tanks.

In action around the globe

@fire will be exhibiting its "slip-on unit" comprising simple tools and equipment such as hydraulic pumps and cutting devices.

THW: sure partner in technical emergencies

The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) will be running several displays around the INTERSCHUTZ venue.
