Decontamination live in action

The decontamination tents at stand C33 on the open-air site will feature a demonstration of the latest techniques for decontaminating people affected by radiation or chemical or biological agents. The demonstration is known as Dekon-Gruppe-V and is operated by the Bad Soden am Taunus division of the German Red Cross. Visitors will be able to look on as injured, stretcher-bound patients are gently transported along a runway through various decontamination stages, from the red (contaminated) zone, through the yellow (washing) zone to the green zone.
